This is my 11th BMW – a 2007 BMW 550i M-Sport Touring. If you’re into BMWs—or even if you’re just starting to appreciate them—this one’s worth a closer look.

After selling my last car, I spent a year waiting for something special to come along. Then, one late night, I came across this gem. I wasn’t even considering an E60, and certainly not an E61 (Touring), but after 30 minutes with the previous owner, I had put down a deposit and driven away with the car. It was love at first sight (rumble). For the record, there are only a handful of E61 550i’s in the UAE; to my knowledge, this is the only one in Alpine White. These are becoming hard to find worldwide, especially in as a great of a condition.

Let’s get into it: this is a Japanese import that arrived in the UAE in 2022, and it’s got all the quirks that make it unique. First, it’s one of the last BMWs with a naturally aspirated 4.8L V8—the 360+ horsepower N62 engine. If you love the sound and feel of a V8 pushing power directly to the rear wheels, this car delivers in a way modern turbocharged engines just can’t.

Finished in Alpine White 3 (alpinweiss 3), the body still wears its all-original factory paint, something you rarely see on cars from this era. Inside, you’ve got the Black Dakota leather Comfort seats, and yes, they’re heated up front. It’s all tied together with the Black Alcantara headliner, surrounding the panoramic roof that opens up the whole cabin. And don’t forget the Touring-specific auto-levelling air suspension in the rear, paired with Eibach Sport springs up front for a balanced stance.

It’s sitting on 19-inch staggered Hartge Classics wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx 050 tires—replaced earlier last year—so it’s got the stance and grip to back up its power.

Here’s where it gets even better: I’ve meticulously maintained this 550i. In 1.5 years, I’ve invested close to AED 30,000 in maintenance—and I have receipts for all the work done. Every part replaced was either OEM or OE-approved, so you can rest easy knowing everything’s been done to factory standards. From engine work (valve cover gaskets, vanos seals, spark plugs, coils, and more) to a transmission service, air ride and full front and rear suspension refresh, battery, and A/C compressor. This car has been taken care of by an expert BMW garage in Alquoz.

The odometer currently reads 125,350 kilometers, which can be easily verified by the car’s current condition. The interior and exterior both show that this Touring has been loved and maintained with care—no odd wear or mystery issues here. It was also parked on the 1st floor during the 2024 floods so it never saw the water.

Now, for the price: I’m asking AED 65,000, which reflects the car’s condition and maintenance history. It’s a clean car in top condition, with all significant maintenance completed and a history that instils confidence. If you’re looking for a meticulously cared-for, unique E61 with a naturally aspirated V8, this is the one.

Final thoughts: This is a reluctant sale, so I’m not entertaining lowball offers. If you know the value here, you understand why this price is fair.
